    Description

    Design Technician I

    At our company, we are currently looking for a Design Technician I to join our team. If you have a passion for originating truss design and placement drawings, then this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

    • Responsible for creating truss design and placement drawings based on order forms, architectural plans, or information provided by senior technicians.
    • Processes roof truss and panel orders, performs estimating services, and interprets blueprints for specific projects.
    • Revises layout and design drawings for projects similar to previous work and ensures compliance with project codes.
    • Writes technical descriptions specifying material qualities and properties.

    Requirements:

    Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
