We package and ship orders in our fulfillment facilities and have continued to operate safely with safeguards to protect our employees.

We pride ourselves in packaging and shipping retail goods such as clothing, cosmetics, shoes, housewares etc., to customers utilizing strategic packing guidelines so there is no damage upon its arrival and is displayed in pristine fashion.

We are looking for an experienced Shipping Supervisor to manage daily shipping operations. You will be the one to ensure complete orders are packed and shipped in a timely manner.

A successful Shipping Supervisor is well-organized, detail oriented and excels in communication. They must be comfortable with paperwork and information systems and have great knowledge of shipping and packaging procedures.

Must be motivated, proactive with great communication skills with both clients and staff.

The goal is to ensure that the shipping processes are running smoothly and effectively.

Responsibilities:

Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
Manifesting on FedEx/Pitney Bowes systems to include tracking
Packing Sends / Transfers
Addressing Problem Sends
Run daily reports and send nightly volume
Inventory and stocking of supplies
Hiring, training, coaching of staff
Managing productivity of staff and overall department standards
Developing relationships with client representatives
Effective problemsolving and strong customer service skills
Collaborate with operations team, receiving, sales and other managers to optimize processes
Resolve issues regarding orders
Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies
Manage all important documents including administrative paperwork and HR reports
Report to management on activities and issues

Requirements:

Proven experience as shipping manager
3 years prior management experience
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail
Problemsolving abilities
Ability to hire, coach and motivate staff
Strong communication skills and comfortable communicating with high level clients
Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
Good understanding of budgeting and reporting
Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates
Strong organizational, time management, project management and prioritization skills
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
Experience with High End Retail merchandise both hard and soft lines
Experience with FedEx or UPS systems
Experience with small packing operations
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multi task
Desire to grow with a growing company
Works well independently
