OUTERWILD MFG (formerly DRG Manufacturing) is a total solution manufacturing facility with a core focus on the firearms industry.

We feature the latest technologies in automated and robot-assisted CNC manufacturing on our large collection of double and triple turret lathes, horizontal, vertical, and 5 axis machining centers.

We have fully automated high precision gun drilling and rifling capability in-house.

Multiple CMMs and vision inspection systems, as well as a robust QC process, ensure that your parts match prints and exceed expectations.


Role Description:

Outerwild MFG is seeking a full-time QC Manager for our on-site facility located in Lake Zurich, IL. We're seeking a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about ensuring top-notch quality.


Responsibilities:

Blueprint Mastery: Utilize your profound GD&T knowledge to decipher complex blueprints with ease.

Product Assurance Leadership: Spearhead critical tasks such as PPAP's, FAI's, Control Plans, and more to guarantee the highest standards of product quality.

Crafting Excellence: Develop and implement meticulous inspection procedures and plans that set the gold standard in quality control.

Customer Satisfaction Champion: Be the first line of defense in resolving customer concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring their satisfaction at all times.

Issue Resolution Expert: Take charge in addressing quality issues head-on, swiftly implementing corrective actions to maintain optimal quality levels.


Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Industry Experience: Proven experience in a CNC machine shop environment.

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in GD&T is a must-have.

Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal skills with a keen ability to interface effectively with customers.

Leadership Abilities: Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team towards achieving quality excellence.

Project Management: Track record of successfully managing multiple quality projects simultaneously.


Pay:
$100, $104,000.00 per year
