- Manage all aspects of the Body Shop department including staffing, training, and daily operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all repairs and maintain high-quality standards.
- Work closely with the Service Manager to develop and implement departmental strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor departmental budget and track key performance indicators to achieve financial goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and insurance companies to promote repeat business.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for Body Shop employees and provide ongoing coaching and training.
- Oversee inventory and ordering of necessary supplies for the department.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automotive body repair.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by upper management.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Post-secondary education in Automotive Technology or Business Management is preferred.
- Previous management experience in an auto body shop is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and repair processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

The Body Shop Manager at Classic Ford Lincoln - Columbia is a full-time management role in the auto industry.
The manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the Body Shop department, ensuring high-quality repairs and excellent customer service.
This individual will work closely with the Service Manager to achieve departmental goals and maintain a profitable business.Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive base salary of $70,000 to $125,000 per year, paid semimonthly. In addition, the manager will be eligible for commission based on departmental performance.
