Your apprenticeship at MATT

You will learn all tasks related to optician work at your training location - from customer consultation, sales, and minor repairs to office tasks such as ordering and entering customer orders.
In addition, you will receive hands-on training in our own workshop in Waldmünchen in weekly blocks. MATT covers the costs of accommodation in a holiday apartment on site as well as travel expenses. We also offer leisure activities during your stay in the beautiful Bavarian Forest for fun and getting to know the other apprentices.
You will also attend block lessons at the vocational school, covering subjects such as anatomy and physiology, eye and vision aids, and consultation and supply.
