JOB DESCRIPTION
Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician ensures that a facility remains in operating form.
Daily tasks will vary day-to-day based on what needs attention at the time, but can frequently include repairs, aesthetic work or tending to the facility's machinery.
They will display leadership and great communication skills with a great eye for detail. They will work diligently with exceptional attention to detail and maintain a positive attitude.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
- Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads
- Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
- Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage.
- Conduct preventive maintenance work.
- Conduct followups on all maintenance and repair work.
- Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
- Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time.
- Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs and other drainage problems
- Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma, Bachelor's degree (highly advantageous)
- 2+ years in a Maintenance Position
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance
- Highly organized with the ability to constantly manage multiple projects in a fast pace environment, remaining solutionoriented and paying attention to detail
- Uses excellent social and written communication skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse team members, promoting collaboration and alignment
- Acts as a positive, openminded and resourceful team player, demonstrating a willingness to be helpful and go above and beyond
- Forward innovative thinker thinking differently, proposing and embracing courageous new ideas and using the information to guide future initiatives
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Travel is not required for this position, but opportunities for learning and development may be outside of the office headquarters
Pay:
$ $28.00 per hour
