- Leadership and Management:
- Supervise and lead the quality control laboratory team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Ensure the laboratory is adequately staffed, equipped, and operates efficiently.
- Quality Control and Assurance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Oversee routine testing and inspection of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve any quality issues, deviations, or non-conformances, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Prepare for and participate in regulatory and customer audits and inspections.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation and records of all quality control activities.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Stay current with industry trends, advancements in technology, and regulatory changes.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of quality control processes.
- Communicate quality control results, issues, and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position, preferably in the cosmetics or personal care industry.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control methodologies, laboratory testing techniques, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and other relevant software.
