Description

Coeburn is looking for skilled automotive mechatronics technicians with a focus on commercial vehicle technology. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining all types of commercial vehicles, such as semi-trucks and Unimogs.

Your tasks will include testing lighting, performing chassis measurements, inspecting attachment points for equipment, and checking the functionality of movable components such as cranes or fire truck ladders.

You will use electronic measuring and diagnostic equipment to assess the condition of braking systems, drive units, engine management, and driver assistance systems.

Additionally, you will lubricate moving parts, replace faulty electrical or mechanical components, repair damage to the body, and change lubricants, brakes, and hydraulic fluids.

If desired, you can also install additional equipment such as distance measurement devices, navigation systems, radios, or hands-free systems.

As a mechatronics technician working in the production of commercial vehicles, you may also have the opportunity to work in the field of electromobility and contribute to the design of commercial vehicles with electric or hybrid drives.

Requirements for this position include a high school diploma, as well as skills in attention to detail (e.g. when inspecting vehicle components), responsibility (e.g. when adjusting and maintaining safety-relevant parts such as brakes), dexterity and hand-eye coordination (e.g. when adjusting valve control or performing soldering work for vehicle electronics), and technical understanding (e.g. when identifying the causes of errors, malfunctions, and damages).
