Position:
X-ray Mirror Grinding and Polishing Technician

Duration: 6 Months+

Location:
Onsite - Greenbelt, MD.

Client:
NASA GSFC - Goddard Space Flight Center

Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the grinding and polishing of Xray mirrors using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure the quality and accuracy of the finished products.
  • Work closely with senior technicians and supervisors to learn and improve techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong aptitude for handson work and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and training closely.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality work.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.

Trial Period:


If your progress is considered good in the first 6 months, your employment will be continued with opportunities for long term growth within the company.

Pay:
$ $35.77 per hour
