SAS Developer

Duration: 12 monthsTechnical Skills:

SAS:
Must have extensive experience and proficiency in SAS for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.

SQL:
Strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from various databases.

Alteryx:
Experience with Alteryx for data preparation, blending, and advanced analytics.

Data Analytics:
Solid understanding of data analytics principles and methodologies, including data cleaning, transformation, and visualization.

Advanced Excel:
Expertise in using Excel for data analysis, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques

Business Knowledge:

Consumer Finance:
Deep understanding of consumer finance products such as credit cards and deposits.

Digital Banking:
Familiarity with digital banking platforms and services, understanding the customer journey and digital interactions.

Bill Pay:
Knowledge of electronic bill payment systems and processes

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to consumer finance products, digital banking activities, and bill payment transactions.

Utilize SAS, SQL, and Alteryx to perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Develop advanced Excel models and dashboards to visualize data insights and support decision-making processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot any data-related issues to maintain the reliability of analytics.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive business performance and enhance customer experiences.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and financial services to continuously improve analysis techniques and outcomes

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Proven experience in using Alteryx for data preparation and analytics.
