Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team.

As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with individuals with drugs and/or alcohol abuse and other behavioral health needs, implementing behavior plans and providing support in various settings.

Duties:

• Implement behavior plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Collect and record data on individual's progress and behaviors
• Provide direct oneonone therapy sessions using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
• Assist with crisis management and deescalation techniques when necessary
• Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
• Experience working with individuals with autism or behavioral health needs is highly desirable
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals
• Ability to follow direction and implement behavior plans as outlined by BCBAs
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic knowledge of crisis management techniques
• Familiarity with data collection methods and procedures
