Description
Our Middletown, CT office has an immediate opening for a Project Accountant.


Responsibilites Inculde:


  • Extracting payroll and job cost data from electronic files for input to high value customer billings
  • Maintaining a sense of urgency to accomplish monthly billing deadlines
  • Corresponding with clients resolving any invoice discrepancies
  • Coordinating information and billing with Project Managers and out of state branch offices
  • Setting up new projects and maintaining project structure in accounting software
  • Assisting Project Managers with analysis of engineers' time charges to projects
  • Preparing ad hoc project analysis for project managers and senior team
  • Assisting with other accounting functions as needed that might include accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries
