- Some knowledge of how to wire up customer equipment, inside or outside of a shelter.
- Some knowledge of what tools and materials to properly perform the scope of work within spec.
- Able to learn and acknowledge the hazards associated with wiring equipment to a power plant and using power tools.
- Able to learn and become knowledgeable of site safety and awareness.
- Follow method of procedure accurately and complete assigned tasks.
- Can learn how to troubleshoot and communicate equipment performance issues.
- Maintain professional attitude when working with other employees or around clients.
- Overnight Travel as needed.
- Able to work in Adverse weather conditions (Heat, Snow, Rain, Wind).
- Must have new site build experience and understand all aspects of the build.
- Proficient with plans, markings and troubleshooting.
- Some knowledge of fiber/sweeps/PIMS testing and power plant installs.
- Must have exposure to tower and ground work as well as hand and heavy equipment.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must be a well-organized self-starter with strong attention to detail.
- Able to climb a ladder, squat, bend, and lift 50 lbs.
- Current valid Driver's License or CDL is a plus.
- Must be minimum 18 years of age.
- Good Listener and Ability to Learn.
- Pass a pre-employment drug (marijuana included)/background screen.
- Local to market.
