    Responsibilities

    Job Title: Electronic Technician III

    Department: 460

    General Role: Supervise and administer Electronic Security Systems Contracts, including emergency repair and response tasks. Ensure contract compliance and program execution.

    Specific Duties:

    • Perform routine maintenance and service repairs for alarm intrusion systems, access control systems, CCTV, and GBR.
    • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections as per manufacturer's recommendations.
    • Collect information from the field to replicate reported problems in a lab environment.
    • Provide 24/7 emergency service when required.
    • Document all service calls, maintenance needs, and communicate with the technical support center.
    • Offer guidance on product applications to Sales and Customer Service departments.
    • Travel as necessary.
    • Maintain company vehicle (if assigned), assist with system installations, and perform other assigned duties.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience with electronic alarm and access control systems.
    • Proficiency in programming software associated with electronic security systems.
    • Experience with CCTV and GBR is a bonus. Some college education is advantageous.
    • Understanding of computer hardware, Windows Operating Systems, and MS Office.
    • Ability to acquire necessary clearances.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a team setting.
    • Reports to Services Program Manager.
    • Required: Current, active Secret clearance.
