We are looking for our palliative care department in Mertzon, TX for the next possible starting date:


Employee in palliative care (m/f/d):


(full-time and/or part-time)

Your tasks:


  • Independent and professional execution of basic and treatment care as well as taking further necessary nursing measures
  • Willingness to engage in intensive relationship and care work
  • Identification with the concept of palliative care and willingness to engage with the situation of terminally ill people
  • Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team and contribution to the development of the department
  • Willingness to work independently in shift service
  • Counseling and support for family members and other cooperation partners

You bring with you:


  • Completed training in geriatric, or health and nursing care
  • Further education in palliative care of at least 160 hours or willingness to complete it
  • Identification with the idea of palliative care for seriously ill people, especially through a respectful attitude towards the seriously ill and their family members
  • Good nursing and medical knowledge in the field of palliative and acute care or oncology
  • Communicative and social competence, empathy and flexibility
