IMMEDIATE OPENING/PAID TRAINING INDEPENDENT LIVING CASE MANAGER

Independent Living Case Managers provide testing, life skills training and support to all eligible youth ages 14-23 referred by the Cambria County Children and Youth Agency.

Case Managers encourage the youth to utilize the skills they have obtained during training to pursue employment and educational goals and work toward a successful transition to self-sufficiency.

They are to be available to provide guidance and support throughout this process and encourage all clients to take advantage of the program's aftercare services.

Applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule and utilize their vehicle to travel to meetings and transport clients.

Mileage will be reimbursed.


Requirements include:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalency. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field is preferred but not required.
• At least 6 months of direct childcare experience with a degree, or at least 12 months of direct childcare experience without a degree.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated conflictresolution skills.
• Ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision.
• Possess reliable transportation
• MUST HAVE A DESIRE TO AND COMPASSION FOR WORKING WITH ADOLESCENT AND OLDER YOUTH.

Applicant must be at least 21 years old, have a valid PA driver's license, be eligible for FBI, Act 33 & 34 Clearances and be able to complete CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Prevention Intervention, and other training.

From $10.55 per hour

No less than 40 per week
