Senior Appian Developer

Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking an SeniorAppian Developer. This is a full-time remote position.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Work with key Federal and Commercial client stakeholders to re-engineer business processes and translating those requirements to BPM code.
Gather functional and technical system requirements.
Design and develop Appian applications and provide customer demos
Incorporate the functional requirements into the Appian business flows using Process Models, Rules, CDTs, and Web Service Integration
Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies
Contribute to the BPM and Case Management practice at A&S by sharing best practices.
Support user testing business transition activities.
Information and follow Federal standards for Digital Services and US Web Design Standards
Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

B.S. Computer Science or IT related field
5-6+ years of Appian development experience
4+ years of experience in development
Web Application and Relational Database (SQL Server, Oracle) Experience
Cloud implementation experience, ideally with AWS.
Agile/SAFe and other related developer certifications or demonstrate equivalent experience
Very strong verbal and written communication skills, customer interaction, requirements analysis, presentations, and system design required.
Ability to obtain necessary clearance per contract requirements
Familiarity with Business Process Management Platforms/Frameworks, preferably Appian
Appian Certification
