    RNTelemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

    Shift:
    Days, 7a-7p, 12x4, 48hrs per week

    Length: 14 weeks


    Weekend rotation:
    Travelers could be scheduled for up to 4 out of the 6 weekends, which include Friday, Saturday and Sunday


    Requirements:
    ~ SD License
    ~1 year of nursing experience required
    ~1st time traveler must have EPIC experience
    ~ Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
    ~ Previous experience with our types of patients above, including IMC/stepdown and neuro
    ~ Ability to read/interpret cardiac strips, wound care, line management, drain/tube management, drip titration of below medications
    ~ Drip Titration:
    most commonly – Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Levophed (up to 5 mcg), occasionally esmolol drips (will train if traveler has not done these) or other Betablockers or other antihypertensives
    ~ BLS
    ~ ACLS
    ~ NIHSS
    ~ Epic strongly preferred


    Other Details:
    Must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility
    Must wait 1 full year before returning as a traveler
    This is a mixed acuity unit meaning there will be Intermediate Care acuity as well as Tele and MedSurg
    Floating to any Adult Inpatient Unit - Med Surg, Ortho/Neuro/Surgical, Heart and Vascular Unit, Oncology, Observation

    Please note that all pay rates are estimates. Weekly gross pay is based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
