    Position Overview:
    Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Associate to join their finance department.

    The Accounting Associate will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of their accounting operations, including payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, billing, and month-end tasks.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Audit timesheets for over 200 employees to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

    Review payroll records and assist in adjusting as necessary to ensure accurate compensation for employees.

    Download payroll information into Excel and export to an outside payroll service provider.

    Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

    Generate billing statements to send out to clients on a weekly basis and follow up on past due accounts.

    Assist with month-end closing tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

    Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records and identify discrepancies.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent work experience in a similar role.

    Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.

    Previous experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

    Experience with Paychex, ADP, or similar payroll service

    Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups.

    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and external stakeholders.

    Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
