Position Overview

Apex Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center is looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to ensure smooth patient experiences. If you have strong problem-solving skills, work well in a team, and pay attention to detail, we want to hear from you!

Essential Functions:

Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain necessary information
Assist physicians during exams and procedures
Educate patients on treatment plans and medications
Maintain patient records and charts
Handle emergency situations with professionalism
Complete necessary documentation and lab tasks
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Perform clerical duties as needed
Travel to different office locations if required

Requirements:

- Strong communication and team-building skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize

- Proficiency in customer service and time management

- Knowledge of medical terminology and computer software

Preferred: BA/BS in a relevant field, 2 years of medical assistant experience, 1 year in dermatology, Certified Medical Assistant
