- Assess software requirements to devise embedded software solutions within resource constraints.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and other team members to determine functional specifications, design software interfaces, and assist in hardware verification.
- Develop, code, integrate, test, configure, and document comprehensive system and software solutions.
- Keep abreast of advancements in wireless, networking, and processing technologies.
- Engage with clients regarding software system maintenance.
- Effectively communicate designs and trade-offs to the development team, clients, and potential clients.
- Guide and support junior engineers.
- Contribute to budgetary quotes.
- Undertake additional tasks as delegated.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSEE) or Computer Science (BSCS) from an accredited four-year institution, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with real-time embedded operating systems such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, etc.
- Familiarity with Linux /Systems.
- Preferential experience in developing drivers, protocol stacks, and select applications.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Background in product development across standard networking domains
- Exposure to UltraWideband (UWB) and various positioning technologies.
- Familiarity with DSPs, FPGAs, and SoCs.
- Experience with sensor networks.
