Job Title: Finance Coordinator
Location: Sherman Oaks, CA (In-Office position) This position is **NOT REMOTE**
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to fill the role of Coordinator & Finance. This position will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day financial operations while also contributing to strategic financial planning and analysis. This position will play a vital role in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting strategic financial planning efforts within our real estate company.
Responsibilities:
Banking and accounting services:
Utilize computerized bookkeeping software with proficiency
Being detailed and action oriented
Manage various office files including accounting, employee, and contract files
Operations and Administration:
Collaborate with staff and associates, fostering positive working relationships
Purchase necessary supplies and equipment for efficient office functioning
Ensure the professional appearance and maintenance of office
Coordinate maintenance of office equipment and manage repair services
Record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and collections
Provide support to the VP of Finance in various financial tasks
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
High level of customer service
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting related field required
3+ years' experience required
Proficiency in computerized bookkeeping and general computer usage
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Prior experience in accounting or finance-related role is a MUST
Schedule: 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday with potential for additional after hours as needed.
Salary: $25-$30 an hour
