    Registered Nurse (Med Nurse)

    Compensation: $50-$53 pr/hr

    Job Type: Per-diem and in-person, 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am

    Collaborating with a Long Term Care/Rehabilitation Facility in the Bronx, NY that is seeking a Registered Nurse (Med Nurse)

    Med Nurse Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist in assessment and care planning for residents.
    • Complete assessment to all residents quarterly and PRN such as: pain assessment, fall assessment and skin assessment.
    • Does treatments, dispenses medications, and performs other nursing functions as needed on a regular basis.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed understanding the dosages, effects, and reactions to medications.
    • Ensures all aspects of care is provided.
    • Administer general nursing care to patients in the assigned area under the direct supervision of the RN Supervisor
    • Maintain accurate documentation in records.
    • Check control drugs, review lab reports, review physician orders.
    • Inform the Physician orders are transcribed and carried out in a timely manner and other RN duties within the Scope of RN responsibilities.

    • Valid NYS RN License
    • Knowledge of medication administration and EMR
