Description

Join our team as a Medical Assistant at The Breslow Center for Plastic Surgery. Make a significant impact on enhancing patient care and supporting our medical team which includes Doctors, Physician's Assistant, and Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities:

Obtain and update patient medical history and relevant information.
Maintain a sterile and organized treatment environment.
Effectively communicate with patients, addressing their concerns and questions.
Ensure proper sanitization and preparation of medical equipment.
Handle administrative tasks such as managing patient records and preparing charts for surgery.
Complete necessary paperwork such as disability and FMLA forms.
Coordinate pre-operative testing and ensure all requirements are met.
Collaborate closely with Surgical PA and RN to meet all necessary criteria.
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a certified medical assistant.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational proficiency.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic work setting.
Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems and scheduling software.
