Responsibilities:

Produce parts for assembly operations.
Safely perform loading and unloading of sheet metal. Change tools and select required machine programs.
Work safely utilizing proper protective equipment and following all safety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Follow all inventory control procedures.
Learn other appropriate job functions and serve as backup when necessary.
Assist with machine preventive maintenance using proper lockout/tagout procedures.
Meet or exceed productivity per company standards.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

25 years experience on a press brake or similar machine in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Amada is a plus.
Experience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement manufacturing environment.
Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure.
Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
Attention to detail.
Must pass a background check as well as preemployment physical and drug screen.
