Scope:


The EDI Specialist will be responsible for creating, monitoring, and troubleshooting electronic data interchanges (EDI) processes between the organization, clients, and vendors.

The EDI Specialist will ensure data flowing between systems is consistent and accurate.


Education:


  • Associate in computer sciences required
  • Bachelors degree in computer sciences or related field preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:


  • N/A

Experience:

1-2 years with experience in EDI transaction set mapping, testing, and implementation. Python, SQL and Azure Data Factory preferred.


Requirements/Skills:


  • Knowledge of databases, EDI systems and tools.
  • Python and\or SQL experience.
  • Ability to address challenges and optimize data flow.
  • Analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making.
  • Flexibility to work on multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
  • Work and communicate knowledgably both independently and within a team environment.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle changing requirements, and perform under tight timelines.
  • Must be a fast learner with a commitment to personal growth in the domain of Information Technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Build reusable and complex EDI setup for inbound and outbound integrations.
  • Develops and tests EDI data loads.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting EDI jobs.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data through analysis, coding, documentation.
  • Identification of data issues, analysis of underlying problems and recommendations for solutions
  • Report, track and resolve issues related to EDI efforts.
  • Frequently communicate with Clients, Vendors, Management, and other employees to provide project updates and answer questions.
  • Other duties as assigned by department manager.
  • Adhere to all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
  • Participates in the Quality Management Program by adhering to all company policies and procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement to ensure quality services are rendered to clients and customers.
The pay range for this position is from $65,000 to $75,000 commensurate with experience.


Work Environment / Physical Demands:

This position is in a typical office / home office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer.

Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment.
