Project Manager


The Project Manager is the point person between the client, the design team, and the field crew on the jobsite, including subcontractors.

The role of the Project Manager is to oversee all aspects of a project from start to finish to ensure maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Although the Project Manager is not expected to wear a toolbelt, the PM needs to have the technical competencies of a Lead Carpenter and the managerial skills to actively monitor all activities and personnel on the jobsite.


Required Skills and Attributes

  • Respectful communication skills with team members, trade partners, and clients
  • Motivation to identify and implement internal system improvements, i.e. generate company templates, maintain an organized file system for project documents, etc
  • Data management, including maintaining project leads, trade partnership agreements, and insurance
  • Eagerness to collaborate with the general manager to develop/or maintain company standards, policies and procedures
  • Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Cloud Platform products
  • Proficiency with Quickbooks Desktop, preferably as it relates to construction bookkeeping
  • Development of projects by assembling job books
  • Working closely with Owner, client, design team, and Lead Carpenters on all phases of project development to ensure there is adequate project documentation in place prior to construction start including but not limited to: Ordering materials for projects; Creating production schedules; Maintaining communication with clients and team members throughout the project duration
  • Ability to develop preliminary estimates, detailed estimates, preconstruction and construction agreements, notes to the estimates and schedules.
  • Ability to manage jobs both onsite and in the office.

Physical Requirements/Considerations:


  • May be required to lift up to 50lbs (infrequently)
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Occasionally ascends/descends ladders
  • The person in this position needs to frequently move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator, phone, copy machine, computer and printer
  • Infrequently works in outdoor weather conditions

What we offer
This is a full-time position with days at the office and on site. Compensation is $32-$35 per hour, based on experience.

We offer benefits including 9 paid holidays, accrued PTO and sick time, monthly health reimbursement, and a continuing education stipend.

Necessary technology to support this position will be provided including a laptop. We value fostering a fun, safe work environment for all.

Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour
