Human Capital Administrator
Your scope of responsibility
- Assists with implementing Human Capital programs by providing Human Capital services, including employment processing, compensation processing, health benefits, training and development, records management, and completing personnel transactions.
- Conducts new hire onboarding activities, conducts orientation, and completes all required paperwork.
- Maintains employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Handles employee inquiries and supports HRrelated matters, such as benefits, payroll, policies, and procedures.
- Assists with HR reporting and data analysis and generates reports on key HR metrics as needed.
- Ensures compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Supports HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement, diversity and inclusion programs, company events, and training initiatives.
- Performs benefits administration and communicates benefits information to employees.
- Participates in administrative staff meetings and other meetings as required.
- Processes monthly billings from insurance providers. Reviews billings for accuracy, codes, and advances for payment. Resolves discrepancies with carriers, payroll, and the Company.
- Manages payroll activities, including processing payroll, ensuring the accuracy of timekeeping records, and addressing payrollrelated inquiries.
- Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO1 report annually; and maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
What you bring to OCI
Education, Experience, and/or Training
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and 23 years of experience working in a similar role
- 5+ years of experience in an HRrelated role
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- General knowledge of employment laws and best practices
- Experience in a manufacturing plant preferred.
- Proactive and able to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
