With this role you will process incoming executed legal documents for mineral rights purchases and working interest leases and ensuring their completion and accuracy to file with the respective county offices across states in which Phoenix owns mineral rights or operates.

While interfacing with various departments you will create or gather the necessary resources to ensure contracts are executed properly and facilitate a deal to closing.


You will also be responsible for efficiently processing private corporate bond issues alongside the Capital Markets team while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the overall operational efficiency of our organization.


Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:


Responsibilities:


  • Document Processing: Handle the endtoend processing of documents associated with gas and oil lease and mineral acquisitions. This includes receiving, reviewing, and verifying all deal related documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information, and recording relevant details in the designated systems before sending to clients.
  • Compliance: Stay uptodate with the latest guidelines and requirements related to county requirements for recording documents.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all documents, ensuring they are readily accessible and securely stored.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams, including acquisitions, finance, land, capital markets, and operations, to facilitate efficient lease and purchase document processing. Liaise with external parties, such as county recorders and financial institutions, to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of any issues or inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance bond processing procedures. Propose and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize resource allocation.

Requirements:


  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in lease processing, financial operations, or the oil and gas industry is an advantage.
  • Underwriting experience, preferably in an operationsfocused role, is highly desirable. Familiarity with insurance policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements is a plus.

Oil Industry:
Familiarity with the gas and oil industry, including an understanding of mineral acquisitions and leasing, is desirable.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision when processing bondrelated documents and information.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders professionally and confidently.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights to support process improvements and decisionmaking.
  • Compliance Mindset: Strong commitment to adhering to regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance in all bond processing activities.
  • Team Player: Strong collaborative skills, willingness to work in a teamoriented environment, and ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Pay:
$60, $70,000.00 per year
