Duties:


Job Purpose:

As a Building Facilities Maintenance Technician your primary responsibility is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of all building facilities to support the company's operations


Your duties may include:

  • Performing routine inspections of building systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, to identify any issues or potential hazards.
  • Conducting regular preventive maintenance tasks, such as filter replacements, lubrication, and adjustments, to keep systems operating efficiently and minimize downtime.
  • Responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to address issues and minimize disruptions to business operations.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing building systems and equipment, including but not limited to HVAC units, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and electrical outlets.
  • Performing minor carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance tasks as needed to maintain the appearance and functionality of the facilities.
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock for ongoing operations.
  • Collaborating with other departments and external contractors as needed to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Documenting maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other tracking tools.
  • Participating in training programs and staying informed about new technologies and best practices in building maintenance to enhance job performance and efficiency.

Pay:
$22.00 per hour
