Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented person to serve as Business Operations Director at a well established hospitality supply distributor based in Schertz, TX.
Primary Function
The Business Operations Director is responsible for the operational management of the firm.
Reporting and Accountability
The Business Operations Director will report to the CEO and owner of the business.
Requirements:
- 10 years of professional experience in operations, purchasing, finance or similar; and 35 years of experience in a similar role, leading and managing overall operations at a distributor/wholesale business or in a relevant professional setting
- Experience in managing employee and vendor relations
- Demonstrate ability to exercise sound judgment and exhibit strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Bonus: experience with managing P&L and strategic initiatives
Responsibilties:
- Manage purchasing and accounts payable process
- Review and manage vendor relationships to ensure the needs of the company are met while maintaining fiscal responsibility
- Benchmark product pricing, identify new suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms
- Execute high impact initiatives to achieve quarterly and annual business goals
- Develop and monitor KPIs and tools to oversee operational performance
- Develop and mature operational capabilities, processes and technology
