Position Summary:

The Director of Operations is responsible for leadership and decision-making initiatives when it comes to budgeting, financials, aircraft inventory, pilot staffing levels, and following FAA regulations.

Essential Job Functions
Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement.
Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with CEO.
Manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the Company achieves targets for growth and profitability.
Monitor performance and take corrective measures when necessary and prepare detailed updates and forecasts.
Communicate with FAA and utilize the FAA portal.
Plan, organize, and direct activities in operations, maintenance, and safety to ensure safe, effective, and efficient operations.

Assist in preparing, justifying, and administering the operational budget; monitor budget performance against projected performance to ensure budget objectives are met.

Implement programs and assist with developing strategic initiatives.
Assume leadership responsibilities with direct reports and delegate tasks accordingly.
Maintain proper aircraft inventory.
Manage organizational structure required to accomplish objectives in an effective and efficient manner.
Remain informed on pilot staffing levels.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, required.
Minimum 7 years' experience within the field, required.
Must be a licensed PIC.
Proven experience in policy planning, program development, budget preparation and administration, and contract administration at an executive level.
