    Description

    Serves as the Supervisory Program Manager for the Energy Technology Manufacturing & Workforce Program, which includes education and workforce development, entrepreneurship, and stakeholder outreach in addition to research, development, and pilot demonstration of a suite of technologies that advance semiconductor, manufacturing and energy storage.

    Provides both technical and administrative supervision to the staff of GS-15 level and below engineers, physical scientists, analysts, and other technical and administrative employees.

    Oversees all aspects of RD&D, workforce development, and technical assistance program planning; scheduling; and implementation of scientific research, engineering, and workforce development components within the program categories.

    Develops goals and objectives and advises EERE and DOE management on relevant policy directives.

    Interprets DOE policy directives and assures that they are properly executed and that research tasks are directed toward meeting approved goals and objectives.

    Directs and coordinates the execution of programs through interaction with appropriate HQ elements and supporting DOE field offices and contractors.

    Verifies that work plans adhere to policy, budget, and scheduling guidance provided by DOE management.

    Directs and oversees the preparation of technical reports, and other documentation required to support DOE positions related to the Office's projects or programs.
