Position Summary
Collaborate with internal/external loan partners to ensure timely purchase of loan files, clearing all pre
- and post-closing conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Review and follow up to ensure bank has shipped the note, updating Encompass with the shipped date.
Address any prepurchase conditions/defects. Once cleared, update the defect screen, clear conditions and upload documents into the system.
Resolve any issues preventing the loans from being purchased.
Pull and process purchase advice for assigned investors, through investor website/portals.
Review suspended loans and open escalation ticket when necessary.
Monitor investor websites/portals for postpurchase conditions/defects and address, when applicable to cure.
Process transfer letters.
Assist with Post-Closing Inbox.
Establish and maintain good, open lines of communication with the investor account representatives, borrowers and other external third parties.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of Postclosing/Suspense Coordinator.
2+ years of Freddie Mac Loan Selling and Fannie Mae Loan Delivery experience.
Knowledge of FHA, VA and USDA guidelines.
Ability to maintain a knowledge of lending guidelines, investor programs, industry requirements, and industry changes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, and electronic mail software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of professional integrity.
Maintains a positive, helpful, constructive attitude and work relationship with coworkers and supervisor.
Strong time management and organizational skills in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
Attention to detail and quality focused.
Understanding of mortgage closing documents.
Encompass experience preferred.
