The Werkrealschule department of the Schulverbund am Deutenberg in Villingen-Schwenningen is a full-time school with lunch options and a care program for children and teenagers in grades 5-10, including VK classes for German as a second language.

We offer the opportunity to do a Voluntary Social Year in this area starting in September 2024:

Your responsibilities:

  • Assisting during the students' break time and with statistical work during the break time (after the renovation phase of the Schulverbund am Deutenberg)
  • Supervising children and teenagers during lunch breaks in collaboration with educational professionals
  • Assisting with the design and implementation of educational activities and projects
  • Weekly preparation of a newspaper quiz with the children and teenagers
  • Participating in extracurricular events
  • Individual support for children and teenagers or assistance in class
