Pay Range:
$20/hr.$27/hr.


Summary:


Provost & Pritchard is seeking an enthusiastic, client service-oriented self-starter to provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks in addition to providing administrative support to project managers.


Duties:


  • Provide routine information and direction to visitors and vendors
  • Assist project administrators with administrative and nontechnical tasks of all kinds
  • Typing, scanning documents, report preparation and binding
  • Process various steps to new project set up, from submitting information to accounting through project database entries
  • Proposal and Contract pickups and deliveries/ filing documents with the County
  • Primary person to conduct office organization and supply restocking, kitchen clean up daily, facilitate the set up and cleanup of meetings and events, order and pick up lunches for meetings and events, as needed
  • Primary person to coordinate and facilitate shipping to outside laboratories including packaging samples
  • Primary person for electronic and hard copy filing and maintenance of files
  • Communicate with building management and inform staff of important information
  • Manage fleet vehicles
  • Inventory and track tools and devices used by field staff
  • Facilitate delivery and receipt of goods from other P&P offices
  • Primary person to send, receive, and distribute mail into and out of the office
  • Primary person to open and close the office everyday
  • Primary person to coordinate with visiting personnel from other offices and management of schedules for conference rooms and open offices used by visitors
  • Coordination with IT Staff during new staff onboarding

Qualifications:


  • 2+ years' college level course work, college degree preferred
  • Experience providing administrative support in a professional office setting
  • Detail oriented and ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently
  • Strong analytical & research skills
  • Ability to manage difficult client/customer situations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Versatility able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and deadlines and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 software
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Valid Driver's license
