- Technical expertise in maintenance and troubleshooting of clinical laboratory equipment and analyzers.
- Critical thinking skills for assuring proper clinical workflow including maintaining a sterile field.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
- Knowledge of current safety OSHA, bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials regulations.
- Ability to perform all essential functions using safe work methods and following safety regulations relating to the job.
- Previous history of purchasing clinical lab supplies and equipment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, with faculty and students.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications.

Salary Information:
This is a part time, one semester position.
The schedule will be one week before the semester begins and one week after the semester ends, 10 hours per week.
New hires will be hired at $20.47 per hour/Temporary Grade 77 on the UA temporary staff salary schedule.Special Instructions to Applicants:
