Description
Local CPA firm seeks for a junior staff accountant.The firm is dedicated to providing high quality services to its clients, and performs tax, accounting, consulting, bookkeeping, and attestation works for clients.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Various accounting functions related to preparation of financial statements, including journal entries and detailed account analysis, as well as multiple other functions to facilitate smooth daily operation in compliance with laws and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Prepare reconciliations, ledgers, intercompany accounts, inventory, bank accounts and payroll accounts and perform analytical review of client's accounts.
- Prepare Corporate, S-Corporate, Partnership and Individual tax returns.
- Prepare quarterly and annual sales tax returns and payroll tax returns
- Assist to compile data and reports needed for complete of specific areas of review and audit programs.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently and take responsibility for tasks
- Public accounting experience is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred
Pay:
From $45,000.00 per year
