ESG Communications Specialist

Contract (one-year ongoing assignment)

Rate:
$35-40/hour

Summary:

Versed in ESG communications support within the Government Affairs, and Corporate Communications team.
Provide tactical communications support working with internal and external communications teams.
Create and coordinate key communication strategies and tactics in support of the organization's ESG business objectives.

Duties:

Provide proficiency in areas such as project organization, information gathering, writing, and planning in support of external and internal communications efforts.
Implement communications plans and tactics in support of ESG business objectives.
Support external communications activities including key messages, talking points and presentations.
Prepare draft materials and presentations for approval for ESG and sustainabilityrelated speaking engagements and industry events.
Maintain CMS tool with creative elements and organize content for multiple communications product lines.

Requirements:

5+ years of communications experience in a PR agency or consultancy, state/federal government, or adjacent energy sector experience.
Must possess portfolio writing samples displaying content created with superior research, writing, and editing skills.
Experience managing and resolving complex new energies public affairs issues.
Demonstrated passion for renewable energy technologies and ESG program management.
Understanding of organizational change management practices and considerations.
Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities, often with tight deadlines.
Desire and ability to work in a fastpaced, multitasking, deadlineoriented dynamic environment with regular change.
