    Description
    Responsible for the day to day operations of the assigned areas, for the Cardiopulmonary Department. Communicates with and manages the activities of the personnel in the section on day, evening and night shifts. Ensures the accuracy and validity of care and testing provided to our patients.

    Pro-actively researches, evaluates and recommends new policies, procedures and instruments which provide for improved care, service excellence and cost effectiveness.

    Provides feedback to employees on a continuous basis through win/win communication techniques. Timely completion of evaluations and all necessary documentation of performance.

    Graduate of a two year respiratory care program approved by the AMA and JRCRTE or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred

    Registered by the NBRC. Must be Licensed by the state of Indiana as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Certified by the American Heart Association in CPR. Current ACLS, PALS, NRP certification desirable. Successful completion of the NBRC's Perinatal Specialist exam (NICU Supervisor only).

    Two years of prior experience within a supervisory or lead capacity. Four years of NICU critical care experience.
