    Salary:

    Lecturer A/2 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $4,530 – $6,056 per month
    Lecturer B/3 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $5,405 – $11,994 per month
    Lecturer C/4 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $6,190 – $13,172 per month
    Lecturer D/5 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $7,794 – $13,797 per month

    Anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience. Most new

    Position Summary:

    The Department of Psychology in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the academic year. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    The minimum education requirement for a lecturer appointment is a Master's Degree in a related field.

  • Evidence of excellence in teaching

  • Responsibilities:

    Lecturers will teach one or more sections of courses for which the Department Chair deems them qualified. Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the department.

    The Department:

    The is a collegial group of 24 tenured/tenure-track faculty members, 24 lecturers, and three office staff members. The department supports collaboration among faculty in the department and across campus. There are approximately 1200 majors, 150 minors, and 100 graduate students. The department offers a BA in Psychology and MA and MS degree programs for preparing students for MFT licensure, school psychology, doctoral study and other professions.
