**Purchasing Specialist & Customer Service**
**Department:** Customer Service **Location:** Columbus, OH
**Key Responsibilities**
Generate the min/max report on a daily basis to identify required demands for the equipment, parts, and service departments.
Process purchase orders for all demands for the equipment, parts, and service departments.
Obtain quotes through external suppliers for all demands for the equipment, parts, and service departments.
Pull required information to provide suppliers for all demands.
Effectively communicate and maintain company expectations with internal and external customers and suppliers.
Effectively negotiate cost, quality, and lead time with suppliers to meet both internal and external customer needs.
Expedite demands when necessary to meet requirements for both internal and external customers and suppliers.
Generate daily reports to identify overdue demands to follow up with supplier.
Identify new potential suppliers to maintain low cost, high quantity, and best lead time.
Ability to act as backup support for the Parts Department for both Customer Service Representative and Parts Processor.
+ Includes receiving parts into Oracle daily.
+ Includes helping with pulling, packing, and shipping daily.
+ Includes helping with the double check of parts for customer sales orders daily.
+ Provide backup coverage for customer service when necessary.

Organized and detail oriented with the capability of performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to assist both internal and external customers and suppliers in a busy team environment by taking initiative, being strongly proactive, and decisive under minimal supervision.
Ability and understanding of prioritization based on business goals and requirements for both internal and external customers and suppliers.
Ability to efficiently work independently on a daily basis with minimum supervision.
Knowledge and experience with industry suppliers.
Ability to identify correct suppliers according to the demand.
Knowledge and experience with inventory management systems software (specifically Oracle).
Knowledge and experience with Enterprise Product Data Management system (EPDM).
Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge and experience with Incoterms and Customs requirements for international shipments.
Knowledge and experience with importing and exporting international shipments.
Knowledge and experience with credit/payment terms.
Knowledge and experience with parcel delivery companies (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.).
Knowledge and experience with Freight Forwarder companies (Estes, FedEx, etc.).
A positive and friendly attitude willing to go above and beyond on a daily basis.
Punctual and dependable.
