- Provide scheduling support for the Science Projects Office.
- Develop schedules for projects and proposals utilizing NASA and industry standards and best practices.
- Provide updates, statuses, and maintenance inputs to the IMS.
- Conduct schedule health checks.
- Participate in weekly project meetings with project personnel and subject matter experts to gather schedule status information.
- Develop, status, report, and document schedules and metrics for program and project management. Provide schedule analysis and report schedule findings as required.
- Develop analysis of major projects within the program, including the forecasting and identification of risks, and develop recommendations to resolve identified risks.
- Desired 15 years of applicable experience
- Experience performing probabilistic schedule risk analysis and schedule health analysis.
- Experience using Milestones Professional and schedule risk tools (Full Monte, Acumen Fuse, etc.) desired.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Advanced experience using Microsoft Project.
- Experience with implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools.
- Experience with engineering process for building flight hardware a plus.
- Advanced understanding of GAO Best Practices for Project Schedules a plus.
- Basic understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable.
- Membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or the College of Performance Management (CPM) a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Scheduler will provide scheduling support for the Science Projects Branch Office under the NASA CPSS contract at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Preferred: BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience.
