Leidos and the National Security Sector have an opening for a Cloud System Administrator to work at Joint-Base Langley Eustis in Hampton, VA.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to help the 363rd Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (ISRW) and Air Combat Command Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Major Command.
Job SummaryThe System Administrator will install, troubleshoot, and maintain cloud-based Windows and Linux servers and other data storage systems.
The System Administrator will also design complex architectures for cloud environments such as networks, Public Key Infrastructure, Agile Development platforms & services and develop procedures for transitioning applications to the cloud.
The System Administrator will ensure sustained connectivity through government gateway systems and facilitate Cyber Security Service Provider (CCSP) operations. The System Administrator May also support the development of data back-up solutions and disaster recovery strategies.Primary Responsibilities
Communicates with internal and client project team members. Works to implement solutions and participate in design & engineering enterprise systems and/or processes.
Compiles granular usage data and assists in developing annual cloud budget.
Designs complex architectures for cloud environments such as networks, Public Key Infrastructure, Agile development platforms & services.
Ensures sustained connectivity through government gateway systems and facilitate Cyber Security Service Provider (CCSP) operations.
Install operating systems and software in cloud-based Windows and Linux environments.
Troubleshoot cloud-based hardware and software issues.
Coordinate with security personnel to maintain system security compliance.
Setup and maintain user accounts on systems and cloud consoles/portals.
Monitor system performance and network communication to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to resolve them.
Design and implement a backup and recovery policy.
Document system architectures and user policies on internal Wiki.
Research emerging technologies and develop plans for implementation.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree and 12+ years of experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience with Sys Admin of Windows and Linus
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Compliant
Experience using relevant AF systems and databases
Knowledge of military policies and procedures relating to information technology
Experience working with cloud computing and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc)
Current Top Secret SCI gsecurity clearance
Maintains currency of required ADLS and/or INSCOM trainings
Ability to read, write and speak English
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
AWS Solution Architect Course
Experience working with Jira and Confluence
Experience with Air Force ISR units

Pay Range:
Pay Range $101, $183,300.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
