LHH is working with a company in the Addison area that is adding a new Senior Accountant to their team.

This company is all about improving lives and

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the multi-location real estate industry and be okay with an office environment 5 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:
General Ledger accounting and reconciliations.

Bookkeeping, involving maintenance of multiple general ledgers, preparation/posting of journal entries, reconciliation of accounts, and creation of statistical, financial, and accounting reports.

Monthly closing of subsidiaries, which includes support schedules, accruals, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets.
Management of daily cash transactions, covering receipts, payables, and cash balance reporting.
Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives related to NetSuite processes and the standardization of reporting and functional NetSuite uses.
Ongoing development and enhancement of accounting procedures each quarter.
Assistance and support for the external audit process.
Participation in process documentation and the development of internal control and accounting policies as the company continues to grow.
Review and processing of expense reports in Expensify.
Review of vendor invoices for accurate coding and preparation for payment.
Involvement in preparing quarterly and annual audited financial statements and footnotes.

Job Qualifications:
A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
A CPA designation is preferred.
At least 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and reporting.
Prior experience in public accounting is preferred.
Experience with international companies is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
NetSuite experience is preferred but not required.
Highly motivated and results-driven professional capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence other team members.
A solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
