$5M service oriented company seeks an accounting manager reporting to the owner to handle all aspects of financials fro the firmRESPONSIBIITIESEnsure timely and accurate completion of the month-end close process for assigned areas of responsibilities and ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsible for maintaining the daily flow of financial information to achieve timely and efficient achievement of close and post deliverables including P&L reviews, commentary, various analysis, schedules, and reporting for assigned areas of responsibilities.

Preparation and review of monthly accounts reconciliations.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of income statements, balance sheets & other financial reports.
Assist with implementing internal controls and accounting policies & procedures to promote effective governance and accurate financial reporting.

Lead the coordination of field work for the annual audit process and work with group finance team to address selections and resolution.

Support the Assistant Controller in developing controls, policies and processes.
The ideal candidate for this position has a strong financial acumen. He/she must be collaborative, hands-on, results-oriented, innovative, and operate with the utmost integrity at all times.
Candidates from both the non-profit and private sectors will be considered.
Possesses a track record of success in complex, fast-paced, creative, and rapidly changing environments.
Brings transformation experience and is a change agent.
Clear communicator with influential and effective interpersonal skills and refined emotional intelligence to enable building strong relationships.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required, and an active CPA certification is a plus.
