Lead Data Quality Analyst

$107,400 - $160,500 plus annual bonus
The Data Governance team is responsible for documenting data flows within work processes, and for creating KPIs to monitor critical data elements to ensure data quality is maintained.
The Lead Data Quality Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our data assets.
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement custom business rules to validate data integrity.
- Set threshold holds to help identify anomalies and deviations.
- Conduct comprehensive checks on Critical Data Elements (CDEs) to maintain highquality data.
- Efficiently triage incoming data quality issues reported by various stakeholders.
- Investigate/triage and address data defects reported by endusers.
- Perform root cause analysis and impact analysis to help prioritize and resolve defects promptly to minimize impact on business operations.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure timely communication and followup on issue resolution.
- Design and build data quality dashboards tailored for our Data Lake environment.
- Develop DQ scorecards that focus on critical dimensions (e.g., completeness, accuracy, consistency).
- Provide actionable insights to stakeholders based on data quality metrics.
- Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to achieve project goals, ensuring alignment with data quality standards.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts within the team.
- Foster a collaborative learning environment to elevate team performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience with data analysis including manipulating large data sets, building visualizations, performing data integration, or similar duties
- 5+ years of experience with databases and database structures including the ability to articulate data concepts between businessfocused, functional, and technical data users
- 3+ years of experience in direct data quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using data analysis tools and techniques
- Experience in the rollout and adoption of governance tools such as Alation, Collibra, Informatica, Microsoft Purview or similar
- Experience working in a company with strong data governance
