Position Highlights:

  • Position: Unit Secretary
  • Location: Skokie
  • Full Time/

Part Time:
Full time- Hours: 40 hours per week, M-F, Daytime hours, no weekends


What you will need:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience: 2+ years of administrative or receptionist experience preferred
  • Skills:
Computer proficiency and word processing skills preferred


What you will do:

  • Coordinate nonclinical duties of the nursing unit
  • Enter patient charges in computer
  • Coordinate patient flow of admissions and discharges
  • Order supplies
  • Customer service to patients, families, nurses, physicians and other support departments
  • Answer phones and relay messages as appropriate
  • Proactively identifies need for service recovery and follow up of resolution
