Maintenance Planner/scheduler 1st Shift - Streamwood, United States - FRESH EXPRESS INC
Description
The employee will oversee and coordinate all repairs, replacements, and modifications of processing, packaging and facility equipment with optimal quality and efficiency.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Process Improvement (PI) projects and participate on safety teams.
- Coordinate all maintenance activities.
- Maintain Preventive Maintenance program.
- Properly communicate with Production and Maintenance Departments.
- Keep good records of KPI and Goals.
- Keep track of Work Orders and reroute them properly.
- Work closely with Inventory stock operation.
- Maintain Data for equipment.
- Lead Improvement projects.
- Manage PM cycle and update if necessary.
- Plan and coordinate parts availability for planned WO's with Inventory stock room.
- Monitor the entire maintenance process and improve as needed.
- Assist other sides and share best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Good electrical and mechanical skills.
- Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance program.
- Required computer skills: MP2, D7i, Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good leadership skills.
- Familiarity with Inventory stock room operation.
Other Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- Related bachelor's degree or Maintenance Skills associate degree.
- Ability to use multimeter and other measurement instruments.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC controls, such as Allen-Bradley and GE Fanuc.
- Ability to demonstrate proficient fabrication and welding skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic system.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish and/or English/Polish).
