Primary Duties:


  • Fills in temporarily for any vacant Material Handler or Receiver positions.
  • Pulls material and stage to proper location.
  • Loads and unloads material.
  • Receives material on the inbound dock.
  • Ensures that every material move is accompanied by an accurate and confirmed transaction with scanner/tablet.
  • Ensures proper material handling and packaging to meet quality standards.
  • Utilizes overhead crane operation
  • Operates (be certified for) a sit down forklift as well as an orderpicker.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Duties:


  • Works efficiently to achieve or exceed performance targets for velocity, quality and cost.
  • Understands and follow all ISO and 5S initiatives.
  • Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals.
  • Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures and reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience operating a counter balance forklift.
  • Six months experience in 3PL warehousing; prefer two years' experience in 3PL environment
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range: $17 - $19 / hour
